Job Description:

Position Overview: We are looking for a seasoned IT Program Manager with a proven track record of successfully managing complex IT projects / programs. The ideal candidate will have experience in SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act), RFP (Request for Proposal) processes, and establishing a PMO (Project Management Office). This role offers an opportunity to lead transformative initiatives that will shape the future of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project / Program Management:
    • Plan, execute, and oversee multiple IT projects from initiation to completion.
    • Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets.
    • Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
    • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • SOX Compliance:
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure IT projects align with SOX compliance requirements.
    • Develop and maintain documentation related to SOX controls and processes.
    • Conduct periodic SOX audits and ensure remediation of any identified issues.
  • RFP Process:
    • Lead the RFP process for IT vendor selection, including defining requirements, vendor evaluation, and contract negotiation.
    • Work closely with procurement and legal teams to ensure RFPs are compliant with organizational policies and procedures.
  • PMO Establishment:
    • Establish and maintain a Project Management Office (PMO) to standardize project management practices across the organization.
    • Define and implement project management methodologies, tools, and templates.
    • Provide guidance and mentorship to project managers and teams.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
    • Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including executives, sponsors, and team members.
    • Communicate project status, issues, and risks effectively and proactively.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Implement quality assurance processes to ensure project deliverables meet established standards.
    • Conduct post-project reviews and lessons learned sessions to continuously improve project management practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager.
  • Strong knowledge of SOX compliance and experience with SOX audits.
  • Proven experience in leading the RFP process for IT vendors.
  • Demonstrated success in establishing and managing a PMO.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
