Compensation: $120,000 – $160,000 Base Salary + Bonus (3-5%) + Benefits

Overview:
We are seeking a full-time Senior IT Project Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience managing GIS system implementation and software integration projects within the utility industry. The selected candidate will report to the PMO Director. Travel may be up to 50%-75% at times, depending on client and project requirements.

What you will do:
The Senior IT Project Manager will be responsible for the overall planning, coordination, execution, oversight, and completion of specific projects. They will ensure that project leadership and delivery is consistent with company strategy, commitments, and goals. The selected candidate will be required to travel to customer locations as required and is expected to perform direct supervision of personnel during project execution.

Responsibilities:
• Review project proposals to determine goals, time frame, funding limitations, and procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of resources in consultation with company management
• Develop project plans that specify goals, strategy, staffing, scheduling, risk identification, contingency plans, and allocation of available resources
• Coordinate recruitment of project personnel and assignment of duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority
• Coordinate activities and direct project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within budget
• Establish standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation
• Review status reports prepared by project personnel and modify schedules and project plans as required
• Prepare project status reports to keep management, clients, and others informed of project status and related issues
• Develop business processes that ensure the application meets all project requirements
• Develop and maintain technical and project documentation
• Coordinate project activities with marketing, sales, engineering, operations, customer support, and client staff to ensure goals and requirements are met
• Prepare and present the statement of work and proposals for identified clients in conjunction with account management
• Supervisory responsibilities such as interviewing, training, directing work, and appraising performance

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of at least 7 years related experience in a project management capacity
• Experience managing system implementation and integration projects
• Utility project management experience strongly preferred
• Experience with Esri's Utility Network is highly preferred
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of project management standards, processes, techniques, and tools
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Proven experience in people management, strategic planning, risk management, conflict resolution, and change management
• Experience overseeing testing and defect tracking
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and project management software including Project, Visio, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Experience managing software development staff and understanding of the software development lifecycle including testing and QA cycles preferred
• Certificate in Project Management (PMP)
• Esri GIS project experience a plus
