Compensation: $24-$26

- Monday-Friday – 8am-5pm
- 100% In office (Jersey Village area)

As the Permit Coordinator, you will be the primary liaison between us and the local authorities, ensuring the smooth and timely acquisition of permits required for the installation of our fiber optic infrastructure in the designated territory. This role requires exceptional customer care administration skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering top-notch service to both our customers and regulatory bodies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Permit Acquisition: Work closely with local authorities, municipalities, and regulatory agencies to obtain the necessary permits and approvals for laying fiber optic cables in the designated land area.
- Scheduling: Develop and maintain a detailed schedule for permit acquisition, ensuring that all activities are completed in a timely manner to meet project deadlines.
- Documentation: Prepare and submit all required permit applications, supporting documents, and fees accurately and in compliance with local regulations.
- Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for all permit-related inquiries and issues, effectively communicating with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Issue Resolution: Proactively address any permit-related challenges or discrepancies, working to resolve issues to ensure the successful deployment of EzeeFiber's infrastructure.
- Reporting: Maintain comprehensive records of permit statuses, timelines, and any associated costs, providing regular updates to management.
- Compliance: Stay informed about changes in local regulations and zoning requirements, ensuring that all activities remain compliant with relevant laws.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in permit coordination, customer care administration, or a related field is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of local zoning and permit processes is a plus
