GIS Solutions Architect – Utility Network

Title: Solutions Architect
Location: 100% remote (preferably located in continental US due to travel requirements – company is based in Englewood, CO)
Hire Type: Direct Hire
Compensation: $150,000 – $180,000 Base Salary + Bonus (3-5%) + Benefits

Description:
We are seeking a full-time Solution Architect with Esri Utility Network experience to join our team. The Solution Architect will have the opportunity to:
• Develop roadmaps for our utility clients to move to in the future
• Design Enterprise Architectures for some of the largest utilities in the US
• Serve as the top-level technical expert and create high-level architectural specifications, and
• Address issues and compatibility concerns based on requirement specifications.

What you will do:
• Provide overall technical leadership for a systems implementation and integration project
• Manage all technical deliverables for the program, including architectural specifications, use- case development, requirements gathering, specification, and validation
• Provide technical direction for software development teams and quality assurance personnel
• Create and maintain programmatic and technical documentation to ensure efficient planning and execution
• Manage and document system configurations and relevant architectural views
• Ensure deliverables are thoroughly tested and meet customer expectations
• Serve as a mentor to senior and entry-level engineers

Requirements:
• Esri Utility Network experience (migrations, configurations, and/or UN assessments) mandatory
• Electric and/or gas utility experience
• Geometric network experience
• Esri ArcGIS product suite
• Solution Architecture experience- architectural design, road map creation, use-case development, requirements gathering, specification, and validation
• Experience solving defects and issues to technical problems
• Experience providing guidance and mentoring technical resources
• Asset and work management systems
• Experience assisting with RFPs from a technical standpoint
