Location: Mountain View, CA
Duration: 6 Month Contract to Start
Pay Rate: 50-60/hr 

Manufacturing Operations Program Manager

Job Description:

• The Manufacturing Operations Specialist role will focus on progress tracking and development of the manufacturing partners, leading to improvements in real-time status and issue identification. The ideal candidate will have experience driving contract manufacturing partners with a focus on quality, documentation, and building accuracy to solve manufacturing issues at the source and escalate design considerations.
• Roles Responsibilities:
• Provide on-site production support, and first level troubleshooting for assembly and test operations.
• Provide SOP updates, train operators and technicians.
• Provide inputs on optimization of assembly flow and line layout.
• Maintain production plans and track execution!
• Track first pass and final production yield, and create pareto of failure modes, highlighting opportunities for throughput and quality improvements.
• Ensure material kitting and line readiness for manufacturing buildings.
• Clear communication of all failures and any troubleshooting attempts.

Requirements:

• Experience being the first point of contact for production issue escalations.
• Persistence in getting results from manufacturing partners.
• Consumer electronics or microelectronics production experience
• Strong record of documenting required work and tracking progress.
• Demonstrated ability to capture critical information succinctly, flagging items in need of escalation/action.
• Familiarity troubleshooting test equipment.
• Vehicle for travel to/from Bay Area manufacturing partners
