Compensation: $21-$22hr

Job Overview: We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Data Entry Administrator with a strong background in the cruise industry, transportation, accounting, logistics, or aviation. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the calculation of marine fuel prices for invoice reconciliation, utilizing complex fuel indices and density conversations. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for scheduling and coordinating marine fuel deliveries for cruise ships. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, particularly in Excel or other procurement software systems, is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:

Fuel Price Calculation and Invoice Reconciliation:

  • Utilize intricate fuel indices and density conversations to calculate accurate marine fuel prices
  • Conduct thorough invoice reconciliation to ensure precision and consistency in financial records

Marine Fuel Delivery Coordination:

  • Schedule and coordinate marine fuel deliveries for cruise ships, optimizing efficiency and minimizing operational disruptions
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective fuel deliveries

Industry Expertise:

  • Leverage experience in the cruise industry, transportation, accounting, logistics, or aviation to make informed decisions and recommendations
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulations related to marine fuel to enhance operational effectiveness

Data Entry and Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of fuel-related transactions and activities
  • Perform data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

Software Proficiency:

  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Suite, particularly in Excel, and other procurement software systems
  • Use technology tools to streamline processes and enhance data management efficiency

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Proven experience in the cruise industry, transportation, accounting, logistics, or aviation.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to navigate and manipulate complex data sets.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite, especially Excel, and other procurement software systems.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills for coordinating with internal teams and external suppliers.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (business, logistics, finance, etc.) preferred
  • Prior experience in a similar role, particularly in the marine or cruise industry, is advantageous
