Title: Technical Project Manager
Location: Orlando, FL (Hybrid Onsite- 4 days/week onsite)

Duration: 6 month initial contract
Compensation: $60-$70/hr
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the US

 
Job Description:

  • Proven program-level experience in leading technology projects or multi-threaded efforts, with a focus on creativity and user experience (UX).
  • Proven facilitator capable of leading project meetings and workshops with creatives and UX professionals, driving commitments, accountability, and deliverables.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking, strategic planning, and process management skills, particularly in design-focused environments.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and managing software development project plans, with an emphasis on design-centric approaches.
  • Exposure to software deployment lifecycle methodologies (focused on Agile, Lean), tailored to the needs of creative and UX teams.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills to gather and prioritize business demands while advancing project objectives.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, essential for collaborating effectively with diverse creative and technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to deliver projects on time and on budget while communicating effectively with key senior leaders, especially in creative and UX domains.
  • Ability to inspire, motivate, and lead a team of creatives and technical professionals to produce quality work that meets business objectives.
  • Demonstrated inclusive leadership that embraces diversity, particularly within creative and UX environments.
  • Ability to communicate effectively to executive leadership in both business and technology roles, emphasizing the importance of design and user experience.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills, tailored to the needs of creative and UX projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop teams and mentor staff, particularly in design-oriented project environments.
  • Exposure to modern software development and infrastructure tools, processes, and practices, including Jira/Confluence, Agile Development, Cloud, DevOps, Data Management, and SaaS/PaaS, adapted for creative and UX contexts.
  • End-user experience and a moderate level of competency in the use of modern program and project management tools, such as ServiceNow, PPM, Clarity, Smartsheet, MS Project Online, etc., with a focus on supporting creative and UX workflows.
  • Demonstrated organizing teams through Agile ceremonies, e.g., product backlog refinement, preplanning, planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, with an understanding of creative and UX requirements.
  • Proficiency with a wide range of productivity tools, including collaboration software (e.g., Slack, MS Teams), and standard MS Office tools (e.g., Outlook Online, OneDrive), adapted for creative and UX collaboration.

 
Skillset / Experience:

  • 5+ years of applicable project management experience in a technology environment, preferably in SAS collaboration tools, with a focus on creative and UX projects.
  • Proven experience with at least 5 years of experience in leading technology, multidisciplinary efforts across a large-scale matrix organization, particularly in creative and UX contexts.
  • Proven experience with at least 3 years of experience in leading migration, transformation, consolidation projects, with a focus on design and user experience.
