Title: Accountant
Location: Saint Louis, MO OR Minneapolis, MN OR St. Paul, MN [hybrid – 3 days on site]
Duration: 6+ month contract  
Compensation: 43-47/hour
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.

– Maintains adequate accounting and control for various accounting functions.
– Prepares journal entries.
– Assists with regulatory reporting as needed.
– Prepares financial statements and reports.
– Maintains and supports development of automated accounting systems, controls, and procedures.
– Prepares and develops reports for management and/or for regulatory authorities.
– Responds to inquiries regarding accounting policies, procedures, and issues from management, external auditors, and regulatory authorities.

Basic Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience
– Five or more years of experience in financial accounting activities
-Experience with GAAP accounting
-Experience with Excel
-Public accounting highly desirable
