Title: Legal Documents Analyst
Location: St. Paul, MN (On-site)
Duration: 12+ months (Possibility of conversion)
Compensation: $30.00/hour
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.
 
Skillset / Experience:
The person will be responsible for the ingestion process of legal orders. This means that they will take documents received in the shared email or platform, create cover letters which contain the document classification and base meta data, which will be moved into an OCR process for loading into a database. Possible scanning of docs received in office. They will be Ingesting documents, creating coversheets, and classifying the documents received, scanning and uploading into a database.
 
• Receives, opens, and sorts all incoming service
• Scans, inputs, and uploads new summons & complaints into the legal database.
• Performs a risk analysis of the pleadings and routes the legal process to the appropriate external or internal resource
• Appears in court as an expert witness on behalf of the Bank regarding our records, as necessary.
• Performs legal research on various related matters.
 
Required Skill: Knowledge of legal orders
 
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
• Six months to two years of experience in legal documentation activities
• Paralegal certificate or legal secretary
 
Preferred Skills/Experience:
• Microsoft Suite
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Ability to perform research and analysis
• General knowledge of legal and regulatory issues
 
 
Paralegal position for ingestion and intake of legal documents. Must be able to analyze subpoenas and other related legal orders. Data entry experience preferred.
