Role: Entry Level Service Desk Technician
Location: The Woodlands, TX 77380 (100% onsite) 
Duration: Contract Opportunity
Shift: Evening and Weekend
Work Authorization: US Citizen, Green Card or Authorized to work in the US

Shift: 5 days a week including Saturday and Sunday (flexible with days off during the week)
Weekday hours: 8am – 4pm
Weekend flexible: 4-8 hour shift depending on need

Job Description:
The Service Desk Technicians role is to ensure proper computer operation so that the Sales team can accomplish business tasks. This includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting, and actively resolving end user help requests. Problem resolution may involve the use of diagnostic and help request tracking tools, as well as require that the individual give in-person, hands-on help at the desktop level.

Major Accountabilities / Deliverables

  • Ensure onsite technical support for critical meetings with onsite customers associated with sales.
  • Field incoming help requests from Sales team in a courteous manner.
  • Document all pertinent end user identification information, including name, department, contact information, and nature of problem or issue.
  • Build rapport and elicit problem details from help desk/desk top customers.
  • Support Wi-Fi, AV (TVs, projectors, etc.), printing, and basic account access issues.
  • Apply diagnostic utilities to aid in troubleshooting.
  • Identify and learn appropriate software and hardware used and supported by the organization.
  • Perform post-resolution follow-ups to help requests.
