Location: Houston, TX, 77005 (100% onsite)
Duration: 6-month contract-to-hire

Skillset / Experience:
INSPYR Solutions is seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Helpdesk Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to students, faculty, and staff.
 
Responsibilities for this role include:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for all IT-related issues and queries, providing prompt and courteous support.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripheral devices.
  • Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment and software applications.
  • Provide support for network connectivity issues, including Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
  • Manage and track helpdesk tickets using the university's ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution and communication with end-users.
  • Document support procedures, solutions, and frequently asked questions for future reference.
  • Assist with IT projects, such as software upgrades and new technology implementations.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Provide training and guidance to end-users on basic IT functions and best practices.

 
Job Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a helpdesk or technical support role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems – MUST have experience with Office 365 troubleshooting and support, Active Directory, GPO, and account creation.
  • Familiarity with common software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • A customer-focused attitude and commitment to providing high-quality support.
