Job Description:
The role of the Senior Power Platform Developer involves collaborating with Citizen Developers and the Application Development Team to offer support, develop strategies, governance, training, and assistance for the Power Platform suite, comprising Power Apps and Power Automate.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Create custom solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Implement and maintain Power Platform solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements.
• Ensure solutions are secure and maintainable.
• Work with other IT organizations and the Citizen Development Program to ensure quality support and delivery to the end-user.
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful implementation.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Perform system configurations, defining fields, views, and forms to meet the defined requirements.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of solutions to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Integrate Power Platform solutions with other Microsoft services and third-party applications.

Basic Requirements:

• Strong experience with Power Platform tools and SharePoint Online
• Ability to solve complex problems and provide innovative solutions.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and sprint planning.
• Leadership: Strong leadership skills to guide and mentor junior and citizen developers.
• Experience with common data service, data connectors, and APIs.
• Knowledge of additional programming languages like JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience: 5 years of experience in developing solutions using Microsoft's Power Platform including mobile and offline capabilities.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications in Power Platform.
• Education: A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience with cloud-native technologies.
• Experience in conducting code reviews.
• Experience working with virtual teams.
• Experience with other low-code platforms like Mendix.
• Experience with Full Stack programming Ex: .Net.
• Basic knowledge of single sign-on technologies
• Ability to provide and review estimates; Agile estimation and planning strongly preferred.
• Ability to create and review technical designs.
• Ability to quickly learn and analyze business processes, working closely with users, business analysts and project managers.
• Ability to plan and execute responsibilities with minimal direction.
• Ability to manage various tasks and prioritize effectively in fast-paced environment supporting internal and external customers.
• Takes ownership of actions and follows through on commitments.
• Delivers results through realistic planning to accomplish goals. Builds effective solutions based on available information and makes timely decisions that are safe and ethical.
