Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist
Duration: Contract to Hire 
Compensation: $39.00-$42.00
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the US

Location: Hybrid – 3 days in office
(Lehi, UT preferred):  Lehi, UT 84043
Houston (2nd option): Houston, TX 77002

The Talent Acquisition Specialist (TAS) is responsible for attracting, identifying, evaluating, and hiring high-skilled and diverse talent. The TAS partners with the Hiring Managers, candidates, and other stakeholders to ensure hiring goals are well defined and achieved. In addition, the TAS will use various recruitment strategies and platforms to attract top talent.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with hiring managers to deeply understand role requirements and their impact on the broader business goals
  • Attracts, sources, and screens active and passive talent using various creative techniques, including job boards, social networking and direct sourcing
  • Meets or exceeds weekly recruiting metrics around phone screens, interviews & offers
  • Identify and screen candidates for role fit and culture add, and provide recommendations for interviewing and hiring
  • Proactively seeks diverse candidate pools and supports diversity efforts
  • Apply data-driven recruiting methodology to help influence timely and effective hiring decisions while maintaining data integrity across all recruiting tools
  • Use internal reporting tools to track recruiting funnel and sourcing activities

Working Conditions:

  • Open office environment — Hybrid work schedule; a combination of remote work 2 days per week and in-office 3 days per week
  • Must be located out of Houston, TX or Lehi, UT office

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree and a minimum of 1 year of relevant recruiting experience or talent sourcing experience in an agency OR corporate environment
  • Experience in High-volume recruiting or metrics-focused environment
  • High school diploma and 3 years of relevant recruiting or talent sourcing experience in an agency or corporate environment
  • Demonstrated experience building talent pipelines for future hiring needs.
  • Knowledge of sourcing, full life cycle recruiting, hiring process management, hiring manager interaction, time management, and technology
  • Experience in High-volume recruiting or metrics-focused environment
  • Ability to work well as part of a collaborative team as well as independently

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experienced in sourcing or recruiting for roles within the Trades is strongly preferred (ex: HVAC, Low Voltage Electricians, Installation Technicians, Repair and Maintenance, etc.)
  • Experienced in sourcing or recruiting for sales-focused roles
  • Knowledge and experience using Boolean search strings
