Title:  Manager, Network Infrastructure

Compensation: Between $103,000 – $135,000 + annual bonus

Description:
 

• The Manager of Network Infrastructure will be leading three network engineers onsite at my client’s headquarters and will require three days a week onsite.
• As the manager, you will need to be comfortable mentoring network engineers, doing performance reviews, setting goals and etc.  
• AS the manager, you will be responsible for ticket que management ensuring all P-1 tickets are being answered in an expedited and efficient manner.
• As the manager, you will be comfortable delegating responsibilities and providing clear, concise communication to your team as well as leadership.
• As the manager, you will have hands on network engineering responsible which gives you the opportunity to lead by example on a daily basis.
• The ideal candidate will have advanced experienced in Cisco (Nexus 9, 7, 2K, Nexus OS and Catalyst IOS family, ARS,ISR, ASA), Cisco WLC and Maraki.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background supporting Palo Alto and F5.
• Strong background managing IPAM, NDN, HCHP, WAN, SD-WAN and providing load balancing solutions.
• The ideal candidate will have advanced firewall policy (Port, Protocol, Application), IPS, IDS and TCP/IP.
• Familiarity with Cisco ACI, Firepower and Meraki is deal.
• CCNP certifications in either Routing & Switching, Wireless or Security is deal.
• The ideal candidate will have advanced troubleshooting capabilities through multiple tool sets. (Wireshark, Splunk, Aruba Clearpass), to perform deep level packet analysis
• The ideal candidate will be comfortable in onprem, hybrid and cloud environments (Azure/AWS/GCP fundamentals)
• The ideal candidate will be comfortable in new site acquisition work as we average 5 per week.
• Experienced doing circuit deployments, SD WAN implementations and integrations will be needed.

 
Needed Skills:

• 7+ years of hands-on experience as a Network Engineer
• Former leadership experience as either a team lead or manager.
• Must have excellent verbal communication with the ability to provide guided mentorship
• Additionally, need to understand how to manage up and keep your leaders up to date with potential challenges and issues.

 
Other:

• Two step interview process. The first interview is with the Director of Network Engineering. Afterwards, the second interview will be with the team.
• If hired, will need to pass a background screen including a drug test.
