Overview
- The Contract Analyst job function is responsible for the in-depth review and coordination of IT-related contract documents.
- This job function assists in managing the flow of Information Technology contract documents throughout the review life cycle, from inception to final execution.
Duties and Responsibilities ·
- Assist in managing the receipt, tracking, coordination (with Procurement, ETP teams, Legal, and constituents), and review of all ETP agreements (hardware, software, IT staffing/consulting, data).
- Facilitate effective communications with executive management on the status of strategic contract negotiations by frequently reporting on key critical metrics associated with such reviews
- Act as a liaison between ETP and Legal, coordinating Legal contract reviews and facilitating meetings with vendors and business teams
- Assist in managing the process of obtaining service level agreement (SLA) and contractual waivers on any NPR process-related contracts that do not meet the company?s minimum standards
- Drive continuous improvement activities in both processes and technology as it relates to the BAR platform, responding to business-partner feedback in a timely manner to increase user adoption and satisfaction
- · Participate in IT Finance projects related to enhancement of the BAR platform
- Assist in managing the contract intake process so that contract review requests are acknowledged, tracked, and routed for review in a timely manner
- Assist in managing the validation of new contract submissions to ensure the completeness, accuracy and integrity of data entered into the BAR platform
- Work with the ETP teams, business functions and Legal to continuously and cross-functionally prioritize contract review submissions in the pipeline
- Communicate business term changes to owners and vendors
- Communicate with ETP leadership to obtain approval on contract documents prior to signature
- Maintain and monitor the BAR platform to ensure all contract review requests are actively worked and brought to closure in a timely manner, and that fully executed documents are properly catalogued and linked to related documents for ease in future reference
- Monitor the electronic signature system and escalate bottlenecks in the signature workflow when necessary ·
- Monitor contract review reports to handle upcoming contract renewals and terminations in a proactive and timely manner
- · Respond to requests for status updates on the progress of documents within the CLM and electronic signature systems
- Respond to contract research requests in a timely manner
- Understand, communicate and reinforce the New Project Request and contract review process within the organization
- Assist with IT compliance activities to ensure that the company is compliant with licensing agreement requirements
- Assist in recruiting and mentoring personnel assigned to the contracts administration function
- Stay current on the latest contracts administration best practices and IT trends and provide training, mentoring, and support to ETP teams and stakeholders in the same
- Continuously improve overall efficiency and effectiveness of the contracts administration team
- Communicate effectively up and down the organizational hierarchy within ETP and business executive leadership
- Develop and recommend changes to systems, policies and procedures
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor?s degree and formal education in relevant disciplines (e.g., Business, Information Systems), or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years related experience in technology management, customer relationship management and staff management
- Demonstrated contracts management experience with IT related vendors
- Demonstrated experience with one or more contract life cycle management (CLM) systems, as well as Microsoft SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams

Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Apttus/Conga Administrator (201 CLM Essentials Certification)
- Continuous improvement/process management experience including relevant certifications (e.g., Lean Six Sigma)
- Master?s degree
- Experience in food and beverage, CPG or distribution industry
Specialized Skills and Technologies
- Ability to read, comprehend and interpret legal contract documents with focus on IT contracts including Statements of Work, MSA, EULA, Licensing agreements etc.
- Demonstrated experience with one or more CLM systems, as well as Microsoft SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
