Job Overview:

We are seeking a BC 365 Analyst specializing in Finance and Accounting to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, supporting, and optimizing our Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central environment with a strong emphasis on financial processes. This role involves analyzing financial requirements, designing solutions, and implementing processes within Business Central to improve financial reporting, streamline accounting operations, and enhance overall business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Systems Analysis and Design: Analyze financial and accounting workflows, identifying areas for improvement within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Configuration and Customization: Configure and customize Business Central financial modules to align with accounting standards, business needs, and best practices.
  • Financial Data Management: Manage data migration, integration, and validation of financial data, ensuring accuracy and compliance across Business Central and connected financial systems.
  • Financial Reporting and Analytics: Develop custom financial reports, dashboards, and analytics to provide insights into financial performance and support strategic decision-making.
  • Accounting Support and Training: Provide end-user support for finance and accounting teams, troubleshoot issues, and deliver training sessions to improve system adoption and financial process proficiency.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct testing of financial modules, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing, to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial standards.
  • Project Collaboration: Work closely with accounting, finance, IT, and other cross-functional teams to support financial projects and initiatives within Business Central.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain financial system documentation, including technical specifications, process flows, user guides, and training materials specific to finance and accounting operations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay current with Business Central updates and accounting best practices, proactively recommending system enhancements to improve financial performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, specifically in finance and accounting modules.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on financial process optimization and system enhancement.
  • Proficiency in financial modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Financial Reporting.
  • Knowledge of SQL, Power BI, or other financial data analytics tools is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to financial detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical information into user-friendly language for accounting and finance teams.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic financial environment.
  • Experience in financial project management or ERP implementation is an advantage.
