Title: Production Support I
Location: Atlanta, GA (On-site)
Shift: Wednesday – Saturday 12:00pm-10:00pm; after 3-months will move from Sunday – Wednesday 12:00pm – 10:00pm
Duration: Contract
Compensation: $26-$28.14/hour
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.
What We Do
At WBD, our team is responsible for verifying content before broadcasted to the world and quality control of steaming content specification before broadcast nationally and internationally.
Project
You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of media slated to air on various network brands. You will be responsible for conducting thorough Quality Control (QC) checks, managing media ingest, and coordinating with different teams to ensure smooth playout operations. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will contribute to delivering flawless content to our viewers.
Job Responsibilities / Typical Day in the Role
• Conduct pre-screening of media to ensure accurate delivery of on-air content.
• Execute QC strategies based on content type and proximity to airtime.
• Verify that media meets required audio specifications according to network standards.
• Confirm the accuracy of media metadata within automation playout systems.
• Execute protocols in the event of media failing to meet specifications, ensuring the proper QC Fail process is followed.
• Record incoming feeds and input metadata for near-live programming.
• Facilitate smooth transitions between shifts by effectively communicating with incoming operators.
• Stay up-to-date with all network processes and workflows. Assist in special projects and provide additional support to address workload gaps.
Must Have Skills / Requirements
1) Ability to ingest content.
a. Record content and play out or edit application such as Mediator, Media Proxy, Amberfin.
2) Ability to communicate effectively with multiple clients (Consultative).
a. Clearly able to state issues that may arise with content in a very high-energy environment.
3) Master control experience.
a. Playlist manipulation, ability to read playlist editor logs.

2) Someone with an interest in computers and tech.

1) Communication skills.
Education / Certifications
1) High school diploma or equivalent GED
