Title: Benefits Coordinator
Location: Doral, FL (Hybrid) – 3 days onsite (Tues – Thurs)
Compensation: $18 – 20/hr
Duration: 6 – 12 months+
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S
Skillset / Experience:
Your primary responsibilities would involve managing the company's benefits programs, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401(k) and other employee benefits.
Some key duties may include:
administering benefit plans, communicating benefits information to employees, resolving benefit-related inquiries, and conducting benefits open enrollment.
- Processing enrollments quickly and accurately
- Reviewing monthly payroll deductions
- Resolving employee issues with benefits administrators and insurance providers
- Assisting the employees in enrolling in dental, vision and medical insurance plans
- Providing new hires with explanations of benefits and instructing them on enrollment and fulfillment procedures
- Providing ongoing support for the HR and benefits teams
To succeed in this role, you will need strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, as well as experience with benefits administration and HR processes.
- Experience as an HR assistant or HR coordinator role with focus on employee health and wellness administration
- Understanding of Federal & State Regulatory Laws applicable to Benefits (i.e. FMLA; HIPPA, etc.). Excellent organizational and time management skills. Interpersonal and strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively explain benefits information and respond to employee inquiries as well as coordination with vendors.
