Title: Sr. Analyst, Financial & Management Reporting

Duration: Direct Hire

Location: Hybrid On-Site, South Miami/Coral Gables

  • The Sr Analyst, Financial & Management Reporting will be responsible for the preparation and distribution of all periodic financial statements including those used for management reporting.
  • This position will be responsible for using a variety of business intelligence tools ( PeopleSoft Query, nVision, Tableau, Strata, SQL developer) in order to design, build, and produce management reports and dashboards for stakeholder usage.
  • The Sr Analyst will support the Manager by gathering functional reporting requirements and implementing said reports using the software tools noted above.
  • This position will also assist in the design and build out of on demand reporting solutions to automate and replace existing manually derived reports.
  • Additional responsibilities include advising senior leadership of trends and changes in reping and providing guidance to the Analyst, Financial & Management Reporting
  • Minimum of BS in Accounting, Finance or a related field with at least 5 years of experience in the Finance or Accounting area.
  • Candidate must possess strong technical skills, should be proficient with financial software programs ( PeopleSoft, PeopleSoft Query, nVision, Tableau, and Strata strongly preferred) and must have sound knowledge of financial statements with a solid financial background.
  • In addition to having a fundamental understanding of GAAP, knowledge of SQL and relational databases is strongly preferred.
  • Must be detail oriented and capable of working independently in a fast paced environment within a complex matrix structured organization.
  • Strong written, verbal, and computer skills are required.
  • The ability to handle a variety of
  • assignments and prioritize work to meet deadlines is needed.
  • The candidate should be motivated to learn as well as teach and should display a willingness to tackle a variety of assignments from routine tasks to more
  • intricate requests. The ability to problem solve, drive results, and work with limited direction is expected.
  • Designs and builds internal and external reports and dashboards using a variety of business intelligence tools such as PeopleSoft Query, nVision, Tableau, Strata, and SQL developer requiring a unique skillset combining significant technical skills and financial adeptness.
  • Reviews internal and external financial statements and monthly financial reporting packages with a focus on management reporting, ad hoc internal reporting needs, Profit & Loss Income Statement(s), Balance Sheet(s), & Statement(s) of Cash Flow.
  • Works with different management levels to gather essential reporting requirements and leverages skillset with business development tools to develop, design, test and implement an automated reporting solution.
  • Maintains all PeopleSoft trees related to chartfield management to accommodate new department and account attributes. Also, develops and maintains reports in ERP and standard BHSF reporting applications related to management and financial reporting.
  • Supports Controllership leadership with internal and external audits, along with any other inquiries as they arise. Keeps abreast of any changes in reporting structure and reconciles findings in various source systems.
  • Ensures accurate compilation, analysis, and reporting of financial data, and works closely with the
  • Manager of Reporting to propose recommendations on possible courses of action
  • Collaborates effectively with various teams to ensure consistency and accuracy in reporting
  • Teams may include but are not limited to: General Accounting, Finance Shared Services, Business Partners, Finance Information Systems.
  • Provides reporting guidance and subject matter expertise as needed, such as making recommendations for new department rollups and evaluating account hierarchies.
  • Provides analytical support during period end reporting processes and provides oversight and guidance to the Financial & Management Reporting Analyst as needed.
  • Looks for opportunities to streamline or automate processes and provides findings to the leadership team.
