Job Description:
INSPYR Solutions seeks an experienced Enterprise Solutions Architect & Risk Consultant to design and implement robust technical architecture while assessing and managing business risks. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong technical expertise capable of evaluating business processes, identifying risks, and proposing technical and procedural solutions. The ideal candidate will consult with business leadership and technical subject matter experts (SMEs) to gain a deep understanding of their operations, helping to identify security vulnerabilities and operational risks. You will bridge the gap between business objectives and IT strategies, ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable solutions that align with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of IEC 62443 cybersecurity standards and protocols, along with a proven track record in architecting and overseeing comprehensive IT/OT infrastructure and security solutions within critical sectors.
Responsibilities:
Enterprise-Level Solution Architecture and Design:
- Lead the development of a holistic, enterprise-level operational technology (OT) framework for infrastructure and security architecture solutions, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Formulate and implement a robust and scalable cybersecurity strategy that encompasses all aspects of OT network security, including threat detection, incident response, recovery, and ongoing compliance monitoring.
- Specify requirements for network segmentation and establish processes for asset inventory and classification based on criticality, enhancing security posture and risk management.
- Collaborate with business leadership and technical subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather insights into operational processes, workflows, and security challenges, ensuring architecture designs effectively address unique needs and risks.
- Design scalable and secure enterprise architectures that integrate advanced security measures, translating business needs into comprehensive technical solutions that prioritize safety, availability, and integrity.
Strategic Business Alignment:
- Partner with key stakeholders to understand business objectives and ensure that technical solutions align with the organization's risk management strategies and goals.
- Facilitate workshops and discussions with business leadership and SMEs to prioritize projects and initiatives based on risk assessments, business impact, and technical feasibility.
- Propose strategies that balance both technical innovation and risk mitigation, ensuring business continuity and growth.
Technical & Procedural Solutions:
- Recommend and implement technical solutions to enhance security, improve operational efficiency, and reduce risks across the enterprise.
- Develop procedural frameworks and policies that enhance business resilience, compliance, and risk management.
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful deployment of both technical solutions and procedural changes, guiding best practices.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication:
- Communicate complex technical and risk-related concepts in clear, actionable terms to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates to senior leadership on architectural improvements, risk mitigation efforts, and the alignment of IT strategies with business objectives.
- Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, guiding decision-making based on a thorough understanding of technical capabilities, business risks, and market trends.
Knowledge and Experience:
- Strong background in enterprise architecture design, with experience in building scalable, secure systems for large organizations.
- Proven expertise in conducting risk assessments, including business continuity planning, cybersecurity, and compliance risks.
- Deep understanding of IEC 62443 cybersecurity standards and protocols, with experience in IT/OT infrastructure and security solutions.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with a variety of technical and non-technical audiences and tune messages appropriately.
- Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Confidence and Command: Provide vision and technical leadership to clients. Ability to read a room and adapt messaging accordingly.
- Team Focus: Foster an environment of innovation, team compatibility, positive work culture, and excellence. Manage relationships within the project team, clients, and relevant stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, CISSP, CRISC, or CISM are preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Travel:
Typical travel demands amount to 10-20%, involving trips to our Denver or Houston headquarters and occasional client visits as required.
