Title: Product Risk & Compliance Analyst
Location: Brookfield, WI – Fully Onsite
Duration: 6 months
Compensation: $28.00-29.00/hr
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.
100% in office 40 hours a week, no OT. 9am-5pm
The interview with be virtual on Microsoft Teams. Suggest that the camera is on.
- They will Work with a Fintech acquisition for the bank as the acquired company is integrated into U.S. Bancorp. Team consists of Information Security Risk Management. 110 team members, spread across hub locations, and some remote employees of all of whom they will interact with.
- The role’s goal is to manage processes and evidence of compliance that impact the product delivery organization and individual teams, including:
- Issue management, submission, tracking, and remediation (for Risk Extensions, Audit Findings, Self-Identified Issues, etc.)
- Policy and procedures engineering, updates, change tracking and training
- Supporting Elavon employees on ad hoc Risk/Audit/Compliance requests and projects
- Job scope and complexity of the assigned business is broad and very complex. In this role, he/she will obtain an advanced understanding of the business line’s operations, products/services, systems, and associated risks/controls. He/she may lead reporting, testing/monitoring, exception/resolution activities, as well as providing guidance and creating policies and procedures. He/she will typically interact directly with department managers and Risk/Audit/Compliance counterparts. This role requires a substantial level of relationship-building and communication skills. This position may also have occasional exposure to regulatory agencies.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Establishes and maintains appropriate systems of risk management and internal controls to support audit and compliance requirements and requests;
- Utilizes appropriate systems for tracking Issues (including audit results, self-identified issues, risk extensions, etc.) through the remediation process;
- Engineers process workflows and solutions during remediation efforts with stakeholders;
- Works with the First Line of Defense to map and test high-risk processes;
- Works with appropriate Subject Matter Experts to interpret policy and procedure changes, updates corresponding Product policies and procedures, establishes appropriate limits or exceptions and tracks the work through completion; and
- Works with the business line to establish monitoring and reporting systems to ensure risks are appropriately identified, understood, measured, monitored, and controlled.
Basic Qualifications
- Certifications such as CPA, CCEP, CIA, CFE are preferred, but not required
- Ability to work collaboratively with the business line and Risk/Compliance/Audit professionals across the organization
- Knowledge of Risk/Audit/Compliance competencies
- Strong process facilitation, project management and organizational skills
- Strong analytical skills and effective oral and written communication skills
- Business acumen and credibility to help business line(s) proactively identify and address change
- PC literacy in word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations
- Understanding of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends is preferred, but not required
