Title: Project Manager (SAP Tax Management)
Location: Remote US
Duration: 6+ month contract
Compensation: $60-70/hr.
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders, or Authorized to Work in the U.S.

  • Requires a strong understanding of project management principles, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders in a large enterprise environment.
  • Manage and deliver components of SAP or indirect tax engine client engagements and teams.
  • Understand how configurations will change the systems for the SAP tax module.  
  • implement technology and innovative solutions to address tax needs.
  • 5+ years' experience in the implementation of tax-related solutions in SAP including but not limited to tax requirements for direct tax such as corporate income tax, operational transfer pricing, state income taxation, and indirect (transaction tax) solutions including but not limited to using SAP.
  • Experience with SAP S/4, Ariba, and ECC will be important.
  • Plan and manage business projects, and make sure they are completed on time, meet the needs of the client, and stay within budget.
  • Create timelines, and determine costs and resources needed.
  • Provide direction and coaching on project-specific tasks.
  • Generate a detailed plan and schedule for each stage of the project.
  • Ensure that each stage is progressing on time, on budget, and to the processes and quality standards of the company.
  • Report the project progress to senior managers and the client.
  • Manage risks and manage to avoid delays.
  • Assist with the coordination of tester identification, test execution, and environment management.
  • Ability to build plans and schedules and manage tasks to completion across different teams.
  • High-level understanding of integration between systems, ability to coordinate and facilitate between systems owners and middleware owners.
  • Ability to drive conversations for issue resolution.
