Coupa Solutions Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Position will report to Director Global Sourcing Solutions. As part of the team, the Solutions Analyst will provide the Sourcing teams with support for the sourcing/purchasing efforts to leverage global scale across ~$10 billion of direct and indirect goods and services.
• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Coupa Sourcing Optimization (CSO) to play a critical role in our procurement and sourcing team. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience designing, managing, and executing complex sourcing events, leveraging CSO's advanced features and optimization tools. This role demands a deep understanding of Coupa's technical capabilities, including cost modeling, scenario configuration, and data analytics, to address diverse procurement challenges.
• The SME will utilize their expertise to build and analyze intricate optimization scenarios, evaluate trade-offs, and provide actionable recommendations that align with organizational objectives. By employing a data-driven approach, the ideal candidate will be instrumental in transforming sourcing strategies, maximizing value, and achieving measurable results.
• This position is well-suited for a detail-oriented, technically proficient professional with a passion for solving complex procurement problems and driving efficiency through advanced sourcing solutions.
• Serve as the in-house technical expert for Coupa Sourcing Optimization, providing guidance and support to stakeholders across the organization.
• Develop advanced cost models and optimization scenarios tailored to specific business needs, enabling data-driven decisions.
• Use CSO to create scenarios that evaluate multiple bid configurations, supplier mixes, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure the effective application of CSO's scenario analysis features to compare outcomes and recommend optimal sourcing solutions.
• Act as a trusted advisor to cross-functional teams, identifying and implementing best practices for leveraging CSO's full technical capabilities.
• Configure and customize CSO tools to meet specific business requirements, including detailed bid evaluation and scenario comparisons.
• Build, analyze, and refine optimization scenarios to evaluate trade-offs between cost, supply constraints, and strategic objectives.
• Integrate CSO with other Coupa modules or third-party systems as needed to create seamless workflows and data consistency.
• Generate and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytics in Coupa to track sourcing event performance and provide actionable insights.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure scenario configurations align with business goals.
• Lead end-to-end execution of sourcing events within CSO, including scenario configuration, optimization analysis, and post-event reporting.
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand business needs and translate them into effective sourcing strategies using advanced scenarios.
• Manage scenario variations to test the impact of different assumptions, constraints, and bid structures.
• Provide detailed scenario outputs and recommendations to stakeholders, supporting strategic decision-making.
• Stay up to date with Coupa Sourcing Optimization product updates, enhancements, and industry trends to continuously improve sourcing processes.
• Identify opportunities to enhance procurement efficiency through automation, optimization, and scenario refinement.
• Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs), best practices, and training materials for advanced CSO usage.

Skillset / Experience:

• Coupa certifications (e.g., Coupa Certified Sourcing Professional) are strongly preferred
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Coupa Sourcing Optimization, focused on creating and managing complex sourcing events.
• Proven expertise in using advanced CSO features, including scenario creation, bid optimization, and cost modeling.
• Strong technical proficiency in configuring and managing CSO tools and modules.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and data manipulation for cost modeling, bid analysis, and reporting.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
• Familiarity with system integrations between Coupa and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is highly desirable.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage large data sets and complex scenarios.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Highly detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
