Data Engineer

ABOUT THIS FEATURED OPPORTUNITY

The Data Engineer will focus on data quality, validation, and production script development. You will work closely with business and data teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and alignment with business logic. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and expertise in SQL and cloud-based data solutions.

THE OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU

• Validate and ensure data quality across multiple applications.
• Develop production scripts to improve data hygiene and consistency.
• Work with business stakeholders to translate business logic into data validation criteria.
• Optimize SQL queries for performance, efficiency, and accuracy.
• Extract and aggregate data from multiple cloud environments and databases.
• Debug and troubleshoot inefficient or incorrect queries.
• Ensure data extraction aligns with business logic and system rules.
• Work within a dynamic team handling complex and irregular datasets.

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS

• 4+ years of Data Engineering experience with SQL expertise
  • Strong understanding of window functions, performance tuning, and query optimization
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate complex data challenges
• Experience extracting data from multiple databases i.e. Snowflake, AWS Athena, PostgreSQL, Teradata, Redshift, etc.
  • Experience working with cloud environments for efficient data extraction and aggregation
• Ability to translate business requirements into structured SQL queries and data outputs
  • Experience working in dynamic, fast-paced environments with evolving data needs
