Senior Data Engineer

Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Senior Data Engineer with expertise in social media analytics and experience with social media data APIs from multiple platforms like YouTube, Tik Tok, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter to measure and analyze impressions, engagements, key metrics, and identify trends.

Responsibilities:

• Pull key metrics data using the YouTube/Google Analytics & Reporting APIs, and Data APIs with OAUTH Client & Access Token, API Key, and Service Account methods
• Similarly, pull key metrics data using the TikTok API
• Similarly, pull key metrics data using the Facebook API
• Similarly, pull key metrics data using the Instagram API
• Gather data requirements and map source-to-target
• Validate and review data
• Develop and monitor ETL/ELT data pipelines
• Design and implement database schema, tables, and views
• Produce datasets as input to science models and visualization
• Technologies generally leveraged to fulfill the work include, but not limited to, SQL, Python, Docker, Gitlab, Airflow, Snowflake, and PostgreSQL

Basic Qualification:

• 3-5 years of experience with designing and developing ELT/ETL data pipeline
• Experience working with social media data/analytics APIs from YouTube, Tik Tok, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter
• Experience using different web scraping approaches and tools
• Proven experience and expertise using Python and SQL (minimum 2-3 years with each)
• Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies, preferably cloud-based, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar
• Strong understanding of relational database design and proficiency utilizing a database such as PostgreSQL
• Experience with data warehouses and data lakes
• Experience with cloud architecture and storage (AWS preferred)
• Experience with developing in a multi environment (Dev, QA, Prod, etc.) and DevOps procedures for code deployment/promotion.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience managing and deploying code using a source control product such as GitLab/GitHub
• Experience leveraging containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
• Hands-on knowledge of job scheduling software like Apache Airflow
• Experience with SQL Query optimization based on runtime and cost
• Experience using interactive Streamlit and RShiny frameworks
• Experience using Domino Data Lab platform, RStudio Servers, PyPI Servers, MLFlow Servers
• Experience using AWS S3 and EC2 Linux instances, Bash, SSH, Docker, Kubernetes
• Experience using different web scraping approaches and tools
• Experience evaluating, choosing, and rolling out team software tools and component libraries
• Experience with Emplify and Netbase/Quid social marketing platforms
• Familiarity with GenAI technology, specifically RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), Vector databases, and Prompt Engineering
