Title: Creative Audio Data Operations Associate

Location: Remote, US

Duration: 6 months (possible extension)

Compensation: $25-45/hr

Work Requirements: US Citizen, Green Card Holders, or Authorized to Work in the U.S.

Skillset / Experience: Creative Audio Data Operations Associate

The Creative Audio Data Operations Associate will be responsible for maintaining data dashboards to assist leadership in driving strategy, performance, and impact through key data insights. This role requires strong technical and analytical skills, as well as the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Review data intake forms to determine project scope and limitations, estimate time required to complete projects, and prioritize tasks based on business value, complexity, and available resources.

  • Build and update dynamic dashboards to measure impact and provide ongoing insights to support leadership in making data-driven strategic decisions.

  • Collaborate with music operations, music intake, and data analysts to understand data needs and effectively present key insights.

  • Maintain metadata processing and ingestion using a Python- and SQL-based ETL framework.

  • Translate business needs into precise technical requirements and development plans.

  • Support ad hoc data projects within Creative Audio.

  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and accuracy across all data solutions.

  • Utilize strong communication skills to build productive relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in: SQL, Python (basic to intermediate), Tableau, and Excel.

  • Experience collaborating across technical and non-technical functions to align reporting with business objectives.

  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to translate complex data into clear insights for diverse audiences.

  • Strong organizational skills to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to work effectively with artists, creatives, and cross-functional teams.

  • Knowledge of the music industry is a plus.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Project management experience.

  • Experience creating presentations/decks to communicate insights.

  • Understanding of music operations and data workflows.

Performance Metrics:

  • Accuracy and maintenance of dashboards (issues should be resolved proactively).

  • Timeliness and efficiency in executing data projects.

  • Effectiveness in communicating insights to non-technical team members.

Interview Process:

  • Round 1: CoderPad assessment (easy SQL & Python) + behavioral interview (1 hour).

  • Round 2: Behavioral interview (30 minutes).

    Candidates should prepare to discuss:

  • Data projects they have worked on, particularly those that improved efficiency.

  • Examples of working with non-technical audiences.

  • Experience managing multiple priorities/workloads.
