Benefits and Compliance Director

As the Director of Benefits and Compliance with INSPYR Solutions, you will provide guidance to the organization by building and executing on policies, supporting internal employees and consultants, and ensuring legal compliance and implementation of the organizations vision and people strategy.

Here’s a little more about the role:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to understand the organization’s goals and strategy related to supporting internal hiring, onboarding, management, retention and offboarding.
  • Administer or oversee the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and coaching and performance.
  • Manage the HRIS tool to leverage efficiencies and process improvement partnering with finance to provide digital transformation in the HR related subjects providing a high-level of service to our staff.
  • Provide due diligence HR expertise when looking at potential future acquisitions to include reviewing benefits, policies and legal regulatory items.
  • Lead HR efforts for integrating acquired companies to include policies, benefits, reporting, documentation, organizational structure, compensation, agreements.
  • Conducts research and analysis of internal organizational trends including review of reports and metrics from the organization’s human resource information system (HRIS) or talent management system.
  • Monitors and ensures the organization’s compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommends best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of industry trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management.
  • Provide overall Benefits Strategy and Administration is met including partnering with finance.
  • Provide senior leadership as final escalation point for employee issues, documentation, investigation, and recommendations.

What we are looking for in a candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Experience supporting HR in the staffing industry.
  • 10+ years of experience in multiple facets of HR, with a deep understanding of compliance and benefits.
  • Strong background in strategic HR and leading a team of HR professionals.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with demonstrated evidence of constructive interpersonal interaction with both individual contributors and senior executives.
  • Collaborative problem-solving skills and eagerness to solve challenging problems.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office Tools.
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently and collaboratively with other groups.
  • Self-initiative to recommend and execute improvement to overall process and efficiencies.
  • Experience with mergers and acquisitions desirable.
