Title: QA Analyst
Location: Hybrid Onsite (Orlando, FL- 3 days/week onsite)
Duration: 12 month contract (Possible extension)
Compensation: $38-43/hr

Job Description:
The company’s Quality Analyst’s role includes but is not limited to the development of test scenarios, test cases and test plans, execution of test cases, overall creation and continuous improvements to the testing process and methodologies. The candidate should have strong experience in test development, execution, and analysis. Knowledge in BI reporting tools, data warehouse a plus.
Candidate may have to work on multiple projects. Candidate must be capable of conducting UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
Responsibilities:
▪ Responsible for developing and executing formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications
▪ Involved in test planning, writing test cases/scripts, and test execution
▪ Ability to define test requirements, test complex functionality and build detail test scripts
▪ Coordinate user acceptance testing with business stakeholders for projects, as needed
▪ Ability to perform tests under strict deadlines
▪ Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results, and test status
▪ Collects and analyzes data for software process evaluation and improvements, and integrates them into business processes to address the business needs
▪ Documents all issues and assists in their resolution
▪ Delivers quality process training to technical staff and acts as an internal quality consultant to advise or influence business or technical partners
▪ Performs quality audits for the project to ensure quality standards, procedures, and methodologies are being followed
▪ Perform various types of testing including functional, system, integration, regression, and exploratory testing
▪ Perform root cause analysis on critical, production defects
▪ Review functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables
▪ Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements, and design test coverage plan
▪ Ability to read code and support applications, reports, and processes
▪ Ability to evaluate and report test results
▪ Hold and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members
▪ Identify potential quality issues per defined processes and escalate to management
▪ Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements
▪ Perform root cause analysis on critical, production defects
▪ Collaborate with other testers as needed on cross-functional projects
Qualifications & Experience:
▪ Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar or equivalent work experience.
▪ 5+ years of systems development testing
▪ Experience in conducting UAT (User Acceptance Testing)
▪ Self-driven to meet deliverables and project timelines
▪ Experience in report, stored procedures, jobs, data warehouse testing a plus
▪ Requirements Analysis experience
▪ Experience working with a cross-functional team
▪ Experience managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
▪ Experience with Application Lifestyle Management (ALM) to manage testing and test reporting a plus
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
▪ Ability to set priorities and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
▪ Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by QA manager
▪ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
▪ Excellent organizational skills
▪ Strong skills with Microsoft Office
