Title:  SR QA Analyst

Compensation: $50.00 – $60.00 hourly

Job Description:

• The Senior
  Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for developing and executing formal
  test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software solutions.
• Involved in
  test planning, writing test cases/scripts, test case automation and test
  execution in support of IT changes to business processes.
• May participate
  in change control processes and approvals, particularly at more experienced
  levels. Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect
  counts, test results and test status. Documents all problems communicating the
  issue to development staff to assist in their resolution. More experienced
  Senior Quality Assurance Analysts may deliver quality and testing process
  training to IT staff and project teams.
• They may also
  perform quality and testing audits across the various IT functions to ensure
  adherence to quality and testing standards, procedures, and methodologies are
  being followed properly and consistently.
• The Senior QA
  Analyst acts as team leader with strong leadership skills and ability to build
  high performance work teams for solution testing.
• This individual
  also coordinates the work activities and results with the offshore leader of an
  outsourced testing organization that will offset capacity issues during time
  periods with heavy project loads.
• Develop testing
  approaches, including those for test automation
• Plan and
  document succession planning within scope of responsibility
• Develop test
  plans, including test conditions and expected results, test cases, and test
  scripts Identify test data requirements and work with other teams as needed to
  create and maintain test data
• Execute
  testing, including documentation of test results and defects
• Assist in
  defect troubleshooting and resolution
• Assist in the
  implementation and maintenance of software testing tools
• Create, run,
  and maintain reports to measure and track testing metrics
• Participate in
  testing automation, including script development and maintenance
• Stay up-to-date
  on software application testing tools and best practices
• Deliver quality
  and testing process training to IT staff and project teams Perform quality and

  consistently
• Mentor peers to
  help them build capabilities
• Oversee and
  participate in quality and testing audits across the various IT functions to

Skillset / Experience:

• Strong
  knowledge of SQL or Query
• Understanding
  of three-tier supply chain distribution systems
• Ability to lead
  medium size projects with multiple interface points
• Knowledge of
  EDI is a plus.
