Systems Engineer – AB Initio

Title: Ab Initio Systems Engineer

Location: Remote

Duration: 12-Month Contract

Compensation: $65-70/hr. W2 or C2C

Work Requirements: Authorization to work in the United States as a W-2 Employee

DESCRIPTION

• Design, configure, build and maintain Ab Initio environments in support of the Enterprise Healthcare businesses.
• Embrace technology, be open to learning, building new solutions, and be a technical evangelist viewing technology as a solution to advance our consumer engagement and best in class experience.
• Work off hours including nights and weekends and be on call in a team rotational schedule.

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years hands on experience with Ab Initio ETL tool.
• 2+ years hands on experience with web architecture and the appropriate technology stacks such as Apache, Tomcat, WebSphere, or JBOSS
• 2+ years hands on experience with containerization tools such as Docker, Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of RedHat Linux and OpenShift operating systems and networking concepts.
• Strong knowledge with one or more of the following: C, C++, Java, Perl, Python, Go, or scripting in Shell or PowerShell and Perl.
• Good understanding of storage, load balancers, virtualization, web, database and messaging services with the ability to dive deep into any of these areas when necessary
• Experience with Continuous Integration using modern DevOps tools and workflows such as git, GitHub, Jira.
• Experience working on teams with integrated development and operations resources (DevOps)
• Work well with the customer’s technical teams and leadership to build relationships and find ways to leverage and maximize technical investment recommendations.
• Knowledge in writing Ansible Playbooks from scratch using YAML functions.
• Understanding all aspects of cloud security product definition including vendor integration, platform integration and monitoring for cloud platforms including but not limited to AWS, Azure and Google Cloud
• Work well with team members on stressful and fast-paced projects
