ABOUT THIS FEATURED OPPORTUNITY

The WPC group is seeking a Platform EPM to lead the delivery of a developer platform used by internal software engineers. In this role, you’ll be responsible for driving end-to-end execution of platform initiatives, including core infrastructure, messaging/event mesh frameworks, data capabilities, and integrations with large-scale systems such as ADP and EPMC. You’ll partner closely with cross-functional teams—including Platform, Data Infrastructure, and WDP Program Management—to ensure programs are delivered on time, at scale, and with high technical rigor. This role blends program management expertise, technical acumen, and the ability to translate ambiguity into actionable outcomes.

THE OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU

As a Platform EPM, you’ll take ownership of building and delivering infrastructure and platform services that enable other engineering teams to develop efficiently. Your responsibilities include defining project plans, managing dependencies, tracking progress, mitigating risks, and ensuring alignment across global teams in London, Cupertino, and the US. You’ll collaborate with engineers to understand technical challenges, provide guidance, and drive execution of complex initiatives. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, messaging systems, data replication, and event-driven architectures, combined with strong program discipline to ensure high-quality outcomes.

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS

1. 5+ years of technical program management experience — managing large-scale infrastructure, platform engineering, or event-driven architecture initiatives
2. Hands-on cloud experience — built and shipped solutions on AWS (preferred), Azure, or GCP; knowledge of containerization, networking, encryption, and data replication
3. Technical acumen — able to engage deeply with engineers on messaging buses, event mesh, databases, and distributed systems

NICE TO HAVES

• Financial or banking industry background (experience in compliance-heavy environments)
• Familiarity with large-scale data constructs, data lakes, or ADP/WPC systems
• Knowledge of additional cloud networking patterns (VPC design, IAM policies, routing)
