Role Summary

The User Experience Architect is a senior UX professional responsible for planning and designing consistent, intuitive, and visually compelling customer-facing experiences across digital and real-world touchpoints. This role champions design excellence by ensuring every interaction aligns with user needs, accessibility standards, and brand guidelines while delivering seamless usability.

The UX Architect partners closely with business analysts, product owners, developers, QA, and compliance teams to translate requirements into scalable experience architectures that balance customer needs with technical and business constraints.


Key Responsibilities

  • Apply human-centered and accessible design methods, including conceptual models, personas, user journeys, user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes, to inform and communicate design decisions.

  • Design and optimize experience architecture to improve usability and findability while accommodating technical and business requirements.

  • Ensure consistent application of interaction patterns, layouts, and brand standards across platforms and touchpoints.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, testing, and compliance partners throughout the design lifecycle.

  • Review and provide feedback on UX artifacts and deliverables from peers to ensure quality, clarity, and alignment with best practices.


Candidate Requirements & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in product or user experience design, with a strong focus on customer-facing experiences.

  • Advanced proficiency in Figma, including interactive prototyping.

  • Experience designing for responsive web; native platform experience is a plus.

  • Strong understanding of design systems, pattern libraries, and working within established brand standards.

  • Ability to clearly articulate design thinking, tradeoffs, and decision rationale.

  • Comfortable operating in highly collaborative, regulated environments.


Interview Process

  • Round 1: Portfolio review and initial interview

  • Round 2: Panel interview with the team, focused on culture fit and deeper work walkthroughs

Portfolio Requirement:
Candidates must provide at least two work examples and be prepared to discuss:

  • Their role and level of ownership

  • Design thinking and problem-solving approach

  • How user needs, constraints, and outcomes were balanced
