Frontend Engineer

ABOUT THIS FEATURED OPPORTUNITY

The Frontend Engineer will join the Channel Sales and Operations team and help build a robust platform for managing multiple storefronts that this team oversees. This role involves developing the frontend of a complex system that integrates various data sources, enhances application functionality with machine learning, and optimizes database interactions

THE OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU

• Partner closely day-to-day with other engineers, users, and business leaders to plan, design, prototype and ship world class applications
• Build breakthrough experiences to transform the sales experience
• Maintain expertise in the latest advancements in web technologies
• Actively engage in all aspects of development, from ideation and experimentation to deployment
• Be responsible for delivering the best possible application experience with attention to detail, user experience, accessibility, and internationalization

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS

• 5+ years of Frontend Development experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SASS
• Strong experience with React, including:
  • Understanding the differences between useEffect and useLayoutEffect.
  • Making informed decisions on when to use useState, useReducer, useContext, and Redux
• Proficient in TypeScript with knowledge of:
  • Differences between a type and an interface
  • The role of enums in TypeScript

NICE TO HAVES

• Strong design sensibility, with the ability to identify discrepancies between mockups and implementations
• Familiarity with Webpack for module bundling and optimizing the build process
• Experience developing unit tests for frontend applications
• Knowledge of web accessibility standards and experience in building accessible web content
