Title:  Quality Control Specialist
Location: Lewisville, TX (on site)
Duration: 6-12 months
Compensation: $35-40/hour
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.

Job Description

  • Provides quality and compliance expertise to support global operations. Serves on the Quality Systems team, performs internal audits, and supports core quality activities including product release, documentation, investigations, change management, validation support, and inspection readiness.

Responsibilities

  • Quality Management System (QMS) – Executes Quality Systems activities such as batch record review, document and change control, validation and stability support, quality event review, and annual OTC product evaluations. Supports investigations, continuous improvement efforts, and quality-related projects.
  • Inspection Readiness – Stays current on global regulatory requirements and supports implementation of compliant systems and procedures. Conducts internal audits across manufacturing sites and subsidiaries and supports external regulatory inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Root Cause Analysis – Leads and supports investigations into quality issues, partnering cross-functionally to identify causes, implement corrective and preventive actions, and verify long-term effectiveness.
  • Internal Auditor – Plans and performs internal audits to ensure regulatory and corporate compliance, documents findings, and collaborates with site leadership to support manufacturing needs while maintaining quality standards. 

Skills & Experience

  • Experience: 3+ years
  • Field of Experience: Quality Assurance or Quality Control
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree
  • Education Focus: Chemistry, Microbiology

Additional Skills & Abilities

  • Working knowledge of quality systems, audits, FDA/cGMP requirements, and OTC regulations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication across teams and cultures.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
