Director, Global Payroll
Location: Spring, TX
Schedule: On site
Base Salary: $180k to $200k

Position Overview:
The Director of Global Payroll is responsible for leading and overseeing all domestic and international payroll operations across multiple countries and entities. This role ensures accurate, compliant, and timely payroll processing while driving process standardization, system optimization, and global payroll governance. The position partners closely with HR, Finance, Tax, and IT to support a complex, multi-national workforce.

Key Responsibilities

Global Payroll Operations

• Oversee end-to-end payroll processing across multiple countries

• Ensure compliance with all local, federal, and international wage and tax regulations

• Manage global payroll vendors and third-party providers

• Standardize payroll policies, procedures, and controls across regions

Compliance & Controls

• Maintain SOX-compliant payroll controls and audit readiness

• Oversee global payroll tax reporting and filings

• Ensure adherence to country-specific statutory requirements

• Manage internal and external payroll audits

Systems & Process Improvement

• Lead payroll system enhancements and HRIS integrations

• Drive automation and process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy

• Ensure data integrity between payroll, HRIS, and finance systems

Leadership

• Lead and develop global payroll teams

• Partner with senior leadership on workforce planning and payroll strategy

• Serve as subject matter expert for executive and board-level reporting as needed

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive payroll experience, including global payroll leadership

• Experience managing multi-country payroll operations

• Strong knowledge of international payroll regulations and compliance

• Experience in large, complex corporate environments

• CPP preferred

• Strong ERP/HRIS experience (Workday, SAP, ADP GlobalView, etc.)
