We're seeking an experienced Test Quality Engineer to support quality assurance initiatives within a highly advanced hardware testing environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring complex systems meet rigorous reliability and performance standards before deployment.
You will work alongside cross-functional engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to validate testing processes, identify defects, and drive continuous improvement across test operations. THE OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU
In this role, you will support quality oversight and validation activities for hardware testing environments, ensuring systems and components meet strict quality and reliability requirements. Responsibilities include reviewing and improving test processes, qualifying test equipment, and analyzing test data to identify defects and drive corrective actions.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:

Reviewing detailed test plans and procedures to ensure testing quality and compliance with established standards

Qualifying and validating specialized test equipment and fixtures used in hardware testing environments

Supporting electrical, mechanical, and environmental testing of complex systems

Analyzing test results, identifying defects, and collaborating with engineering teams to resolve issues

Developing and maintaining quality documentation including procedures, reports, and quality manuals

Working cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and quality partners to ensure testing standards are met

Monitoring industry standards, regulations, and best practices to continuously improve quality processes
This role is highly hands-on and will primarily support testing activities within a production or lab environment. The engineer will help resolve quality issues that arise during testing while also proactively reviewing data trends to identify opportunities for process and product improvement.
KEY SUCCESS FACTORS
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field
• 5+ years of experience in testing and quality assurance within complex hardware environments
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and quality standards such as ISO 9001 or AS9100
• Experience working with test platforms or tools such as LabVIEW, TestStand, MATLAB, or similar systems
NICE TO HAVES
• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Quality or testing certifications such as CQE, CQA, or similar
• Experience supporting aerospace, satellite, or other high-reliability hardware systems
• Programming experience with languages such as Python or C++
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex test data
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills when working across engineering and manufacturing teams
