Role: Oracle BICC Consultant
Duration: 6+ Month Contract

Job Description:
An Oracle BICC (Business Intelligence Cloud Connector) Consultant designs, configures, and manages data extraction pipelines from Oracle Fusion Cloud (ERP, SCM, HCM) to external storage or data warehouses. They utilize Public View Objects (PVOs) to perform full/incremental loads, optimize job performance, and automate workflows using REST/SOAP APIs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configuration & Implementation: Set up and configure BICC to extract data from Oracle Fusion modules using seeded or custom data offers and view objects.
• Data Pipeline Management: Build, schedule, and maintain data pipelines to move data to external storage, such as OCI Object Storage or Universal Content Management (UCM).
• Job Optimization & Monitoring: Monitor extract jobs for performance, manage incremental refresh strategies, and troubleshoot failures.
• Automation: Utilize SOAP/REST web services to automate scheduling, monitoring, and downloading of extracted CSV data.
• Data Security: Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and adherence to security policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Oracle Fusion Applications: Strong knowledge of Fusion Cloud data structures, specifically ERP, HCM, or SCM modules.
• BICC & BI Tools: Experience with the BICC console, BI Publisher, and Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI).
• Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and experience with file storage systems like OCI Object Storage.
• Job Experience: Proven experience as a BICC consultant, data architect, or administrator specializing in Oracle cloud integrations.

Common Tasks

• Scheduling extracts to run at daily, weekly, or monthly intervals.
• Managing data volume and performance constraints, as frequent extraction can affect system performance.
• Reviewing extraction logs and maintaining data completeness using PVOs.
