Title: Transportation Site Supervisor
Location: Hapeville, GA on site daily near Hartsfield Jackson Airport.
Compensation: $75K to $85K
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the US
Job Description:
The Site Supervisor will manage the ongoing support and maintenance of the Parking Revenue Control System and will lead the on-site maintenance team. The site supervisor will report directly to the Operations manager where ever located on a regular basis. The Site Supervisor will manage a support team of personnel and will be responsible for customer liaison, technician productivity, forecasting maintenance needs, spare part, tools and training requirements for site personnel.
May perform one or more of the following:
- To perform and represent as the Team Leader and facilitator of the Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson Airport installation.
- Schedules the Maintenance support and repairs of PARCS equipment including microcomputer hardware and peripheral components such as automatic gates, CCTV equipment, credit card and currency handling equipment, RF equipment, monitors, keyboards, printers, and networking equipment.
- Oversees client PC user support, new hire PC installation, and computer software maintenance and upgrades.
- Provides quick technician response and maximum uptime of all PARCS equipment and assist in end user training when necessary.
- Requires PC system experience in a LAN environment, strong understanding of Windows operating systems, experience with all Microsoft Office products as well as troubleshooting experience and understanding of e-mail and WEB based protocol.
- Provides technical on-site maintenance and support management for new and existing systems.
- This job may include any aspect of field support, including on-call and after-hours support, and is not limited to system hardware and software, PC's, and IP networking.
- Manages and performs trouble shooting on electrical, TCP/IP and Fiber circuits.
- Schedules with the Airport required preventive and corrective maintenance plans.
- Attends meetings and answers questions and provides information related to the site installation including resolving problems, approving expenditures, handling complaints and providing technical and managerial expertise in area of assignment.
- Interacts professionally with the public, vendors, City, Airport and Parking staff to maintain effective working relationships and works in cooperation with the Norcross management team to effectively meet service objectives.
- Maintain adequate inventories of spare and replacement parts and components through the established means of acquisition.
- Ensures that safety training is provided to staff and that proper safety practices are followed as directed by the Airport and .
- Prepares and maintains records through the Service Call Log related to the work performed and inventory consumed.
- Able to work outside extensively in inclement weather and supervise up to 4 people.
Skillset / Experience:
- System(s) troubleshooting skills
- Customer service skills
- Travel for Training as neccessay
- Formal training in electronics (or equivalent experience)
- Reliable transportation and valid legal permit to operate a motor vehicle in the United States.
- Can pass a Federal Background check for .
- Has substantial understanding of the job and applies knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks.
- Works on assignments without oversight that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations.
- Normally receives little instruction on daily work, general instructions on newly introduced assignments.
- Typically requires a minimum of 4 – 6 years of related experience.
