Title: Sr. Ai Project Manager
Location: Remote (PST Hours)
Duration: Initial 6 Month Contract with Extensions
Compensation: $70-75/HR

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with a strong background in executing complex technology initiatives, particularly within AI-driven environments. This role will focus on leading AI-related projects, ensuring disciplined delivery across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and driving the adoption of modern AI tools and cloud-based workflows.

This is a high-impact position supporting a dedicated AI-focused pod, working closely with engineering leadership to bring structure, accountability, and scalability to rapidly evolving initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end execution of AI-focused projects across the full SDLC, from planning through deployment and post-production validation
Establish and enforce governance to ensure solutions are properly tested, validated, and production-ready before release
Partner with engineering and product teams to integrate cloud-based solutions into existing codebases
Drive accountability across teams, ensuring clear ownership, timelines, and deliverables
Implement and promote best practices for AI project delivery, including emerging AI SDLC frameworks
Champion the adoption of AI-powered tools (e.g., copilots, automation platforms) to enhance project management efficiency
Design and implement automated workflows to streamline processes and improve delivery velocity
Collaborate closely with leadership to provide visibility into project health, risks, and outcomes
Support a single, highly focused AI pod with hands-on project leadership
Required Qualifications
7+ years of project management experience in technology environments
Proven experience managing projects across the full SDLC
Demonstrated experience executing AI or machine learning-related projects
Strong understanding of cloud platforms and modern software architectures
Experience driving accountability and governance in fast-paced engineering teams
Ability to manage complex initiatives and ensure disciplined execution
Preferred Qualifications
Background with large technology companies or enterprise-scale environments
Experience implementing or working within AI-specific SDLC frameworks
Hands-on experience with AI-enabled productivity tools (e.g., code copilots, workflow automation tools)
Proven ability to build or optimize automated workflows
Strong change management skills, particularly in driving adoption of new tools and processes
