iOS Engineer

ABOUT THIS FEATURED OPPORTUNITY

The iOS Engineer will join the Channel Strategy and Operations team to help lead the transformation of a large-scale e-learning application. This platform, similar to a modern learning management or learning experience system, is being completely reimagined and rebuilt from the ground up to deliver a best-in-class, intuitive, and engaging learning experience for a global user base.

THE OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU

• Architect and design scalable system solutions that meet both functional and technical requirements for a next-generation iOS application
• Build and implement intuitive, high-quality user interfaces using SwiftUI to deliver a seamless user experience
• Integrate and leverage iOS machine learning APIs (e.g., Core ML) to enhance application functionality and drive intelligent user experiences
• Partner closely with backend engineers to design, consume, and optimize APIs, ensuring a cohesive end-to-end system
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering teams to align on goals, deliverables, and technical solutions
• Maintain and improve code quality, organization, and automation, contributing to a scalable and maintainable codebase
• Actively participate in team discussions, provide regular updates, and contribute to architectural and technical decision-making
• Operate autonomously and proactively within a geographically distributed team environment, ensuring strong communication and alignment

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS

• 4+ years of experience developing iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI
  • Deep understanding of iOS devices, mobile architecture, and application lifecycle
• Proven ability to build applications end-to-end, from concept through production
• Strong architectural mindset with the ability to interpret mockups and define required technical components
• Experience building clean, scalable, and maintainable codebases

NICE TO HAVES

• Experience working with on-device machine learning models (Core ML or similar)
• Exposure to experimenting with emerging technologies and integrating them into production environments
