Title: Leave Administrator Assistant
Location: Katy, TX (Onsite Daily)
Duration: 3-month contract with the potential for conversion to FT
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the US.
Job Description:
This role is with our client, who is a large retail company. The Leave Administration Assistant will be responsible for managing emails, uploading documents, assigning cases, and assisting with audits to ensure smooth operations.
Duration: Temporary (approx. 2-3 months, with the potential for conversion to FT)
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to communicate effectively with individuals at various levels.
- Ability to remain organized, pay attention to detail, and meet critical deadlines.
- Ability to maintain confidential information.
- Customer service orientated.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Workday, and Excel.
- Previous experience in HR support, leave administration, or employee benefits is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Organize and rename emails and voicemails by team member name and ID.
- Upload and flag documents in HR systems (Workday) and personnel files.
- Assign cases in Workday Help and send initial communications to team members.
- Answer general leave questions that flow through our inboxes.
- Update payroll spreadsheets for parental leave.
- Assist with workplace accommodation audit cleanup.
- Develop a thorough understanding of and follow Academy's policies, procedures, and safety rules.
- Responsibilities may change; team members may be required to perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements & Attendance:
- Regular in-office attendance is required.
- Acceptable level of hearing and vision to perform job duties.
- Adhere to company work hours, policies, procedures, and rules governing professional staff behavior.
