Compensation: $51 – $71 hourly

Technical Program Manager I (Wireless Hardware)
Skillset / Experience:
We are seeking a Technical Program Manager with experience leading wireless hardware and firmware development programs through the full product lifecycle. This role will partner closely with cross-functional engineering teams to drive execution, manage schedules, identify risks, and support the development of next-generation consumer hardware technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Lead multidisciplinary hardware programs through New Product Introduction (NPI) processes
- Partner with engineering teams to define, design, and execute wireless hardware projects
- Develop and maintain program schedules while proactively identifying and mitigating risks
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of hardware and firmware milestones
- Drive best practices and scalable development processes in a fast-paced environment
- Support engineering deliverables including architecture definitions, build goals, and wireless requirements
- Collaborate with teams to manage firmware releases used during manufacturing and build phases
- Track engineering issues during builds and communicate status updates to stakeholders and leadership
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or related technical discipline (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager or Engineering Manager supporting hardware and/or firmware projects
- 3+ years of experience working on wireless hardware module projects
- Strong background in wireless hardware and/or firmware design and implementation
- Experience with component/module qualification, validation, and characterization processes
- Understanding of consumer hardware product development and firmware integration processes
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across multiple teams and projects
- Ability to operate independently in dynamic and evolving environments
