ABOUT THIS FEATURED OPPORTUNITY

We're seeking a hands-on, adaptable hardware-focused specialist to support a high-impact data collection initiative. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, is comfortable working extensively with Apple devices, and can take ownership with minimal supervision.

You will be responsible for setting up, provisioning, and troubleshooting devices to ensure they are fully prepared for deployment. Additionally, you'll build automation scripts to streamline and improve future processes.

THE OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU

You will play a critical role in preparing, configuring, and maintaining hardware for large-scale data collection efforts. Your responsibilities will include provisioning macOS devices and iPhones, running and writing shell and Python scripts, and using terminal commands within Linux-based environments to manage and move files.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Equipment setup, configuration, and deployment
• Provisioning and maintaining operating systems on devices
• Preparing devices for large-scale data collection initiatives
• Troubleshooting hardware and system issues quickly and effectively
• Developing and running automation scripts to streamline workflows

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS

• Experience:
  • 2–3 years of relevant hands-on technical and hardware support experience.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in macOS, iOS, and Apple hardware (Macs, iPhones).
  • Ability to run and write shell and Python scripts
  • Experience working in Linux-based environments and using terminal to move files.
• Hardware Setup Expertise:
  • Understanding of device provisioning and system setup.
  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware issues quickly and effectively.
• Work Style:
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to pivot priorities when needed.
  • Self-starter with minimal need for hand-holding.
  • Proactive in identifying opportunities for process automation during downtime.
