ABOUT THIS FEATURED OPPORTUNITY
The client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Engineering Project Manager to support an internal application that underpins TV Studio operations. The application manages workflows across contract administration, business/legal approvals, pre-production deals, payments, and deal memos, integrating with finance and production teams.
This role acts as a bridge between engineering, product, and business stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with high quality. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in Agile software delivery, exceptional attention to process, and the ability to manage complex release cycles while communicating clearly across technical and non-technical partners.
PROJECT DELIVERABLES

Lead end-to-end planning and delivery of monthly releases for the internal application, from functional validation through deployment.

Partner closely with engineering and product leadership on roadmap planning, capacity forecasting, and prioritization.

Manage release schedules, lower-environment testing, QE coordination, and stakeholder communication.

Serve as the central liaison between business, product, and engineering — translating requirements and ensuring alignment across all teams.

Maintain detailed documentation, including project plans, release notes, and retrospectives.

Contribute to continuous improvement within the SDLC and Agile framework to enhance efficiency and predictability.
KEY SUCCESS FACTORS / REQUIREMENTS

5+ years of Engineering Project Management experience in Agile environments

Proven success managing complex software programs with multiple cross-functional workstreams.

Experience building and maintaining Agile roadmaps, sequencing priorities, and driving capacity planning across engineering pods.

Ability to proactively surface risks, dependencies, and blockers early — and drive timely resolution.

Comfortable working autonomously and managing stakeholders across multiple time zones.

Proven experience leading release management cycles

Hands-on ownership of monthly release cadence — from planning to deployment.

Skilled in coordinating lower-environment testing, functional validation, QE sign-offs, and production readiness checks.

Experienced in partnering with engineers to confirm deliverables, manage downtime communications, and ensure each release meets quality expectations.

Familiar with release tools and SDLC best practices to ensure predictable, low-risk launches.

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to translate technical concepts and constraints into clear, actionable updates for product and business teams.

Demonstrated experience facilitating cross-functional meetings, capturing decisions, and ensuring follow-through.

Adept at stakeholder management, ensuring alignment between engineering priorities and business objectives.

Comfortable presenting project status, risks, and recommendations to leadership.

Familiarity with modern tech stacks (JavaScript, VueKit, DCP Cloud).

Product Owner experience or ability to support technical subteams when product coverage is limited.
