ABOUT THIS FEATURED OPPORTUNITY
This is a traditional Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) role with a strong focus on observability, infrastructure reliability, and tooling development . You will partner closely with other SREs, infrastructure teams, and cross-functional engineering groups to improve system efficiency, reliability, and performance.
In this role, you will help design, build, and support systems and services that power a large ecosystem of both internal platforms and customer-facing services . As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring systems are scalable, resilient, performant, and operating optimally . You’ll contribute across monitoring, automation, incident response, infrastructure optimization, and environment setup, while continuously improving tooling and processes.
THE OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU
You will work alongside experienced SREs and infrastructure teams to strengthen observability and operational excellence across the organization. This role offers hands-on involvement in tooling development , improving system efficiency, and resolving action items from incidents and operational reviews.
You’ll collaborate with cross-functional partners to define and implement observability standards, help stand up new work environments, and ensure systems remain reliable at scale. This is an opportunity to deepen your SRE expertise while making meaningful contributions to systems that support a broad and impactful set of services.
KEY SUCCESS FACTORS (TOP 3 MUST HAVES)
- 5+ years of Site Reliability Engineering experience
Demonstrated experience operating and supporting production systems with a strong focus on reliability, scalability, and performance. - Strong Linux/Unix and networking fundamentals
Solid understanding of operating systems, networking concepts, and system-level troubleshooting. - Hands-on scripting and coding experience
Proficiency in shell scripting and at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or Go .
Experience with configuration management / Infrastructure as Code , preferably Ansible (Puppet acceptable).
NICE TO HAVES
- Prior experience working in Apple environments
- Basic understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker or Podman
- Familiarity with container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes or Apache Meso s
