Senior IT Project Business Analyst – Data & Integration 

Summary
The Senior IT Project Business Analyst Contractor leads requirements, data analysis, and process design activities for complex IT initiatives. This role partners closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams and plays a key role in vendor-supported implementations and enterprise integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead requirements elicitation sessions and working workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
• Own the development of:
  • Business, functional, and non-functional requirements
  • As-Is and To-Be process flows
  • Source-to-target mappings with transformation and validation rules
• Lead or significantly contribute to RFI/RFP development, vendor Q&A, and evaluation activities.
• Perform detailed data analysis to validate requirements and integration outputs.
• Partner with architects and developers to clarify requirements and resolve design questions.
• Ensure requirements traceability across design, development, and testing.
• Lead UAT preparation, execution support, and defect triage.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst on medium and large scale IT projects.

Strong experience in:

• Requirements elicitation and documentation
• Business process modeling
•  Source-to-target mapping and data analysis
• Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models.
• Proven stakeholder facilitation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ERP or enterprise platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Experience supporting data integrations and migrations.
• Experience in vendor-led or multi-vendor environments.
• Strong SQL skills.
