Onsite  -  IT - Business Systems / Data / Analyst  -  Contract  -  Job ID: 26-00384

The client is responsible for the technology strategy and delivery of solutions and IT systems that support production and post-production workflows across their services portfolio. We are seeking a Product Owner with hands-on experience working within the SDLC, partnering closely with stakeholders, and translating business needs into clearly defined technical requirements.

This role is evenly split between production and post-production and will support a range of production applications, including large-scale custom-built applications (such as the Production Portal) as well as applications built using Airtable and other low-code/no-code tools. The ideal candidate is execution-focused, highly organized, and comfortable managing multiple workstreams while engaging directly with stakeholders and technical teams.

THE OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU

As a Product Owner, you will:

Lead stakeholder engagement to gather requirements and document workflows across production and post-production teams.

Translate business needs into well-defined user stories, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria for engineering teams.

Partner closely with engineering, technical leads, and architects to support delivery throughout the SDLC, including UAT and production releases.

Manage and prioritize tickets, track progress across multiple projects, and maintain consistent sprint and delivery cadence.

Support deployment planning, rollout coordination, and communication of new features and enhancements to end users.

Leverage Airtable and other low-code/no-code tools to model workflows, prototype solutions, and support user adoption.

Facilitate UAT, validate requirements, and ensure solutions meet stakeholder expectations prior to production release.

Serve as a clear communicator across audiences, bridging production and post-production stakeholders with technical teams.

MUST HAVES

Product Owner experience within a structured SDLC (3–5 years)

Proven experience working as a Product Owner with direct responsibility for stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering, writing user stories, and supporting UAT through production releases. Strong analytical background with hands-on experience managing tickets, maintaining sprint cadence, and handling multiple projects simultaneously.

Media and Entertainment workflow experience across production and post-production

Hands-on understanding of production and post-production workflows, including how creative assets (such as cuts) are delivered, prioritized, versioned, and managed throughout their lifecycle. Experience supporting production-facing applications tied to real-world workflows such as budgeting, scheduling, VFX planning, camera specifications, crew coordination, form distribution, and safety/EHS processes. Experience should be focused on building and supporting production applications rather than administrative or finance tooling.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a wide range of audiences, including production stakeholders, post-production teams, and technical partners. Demonstrated skill in translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements while facilitating alignment and driving successful delivery across cross-functional teams.
