Job Title: UX Researcher III
Location: Onsite – New York City
Duration: 12 months
Summary
As a UX Researcher, you will partner closely with a small, cross-functional product team with significant autonomy to conceive, build, and launch new products. Research plays a critical role in the organization’s success. You will conduct formative research to uncover unmet user needs, iterative design research to refine early concepts into testable prototypes, and evaluative research to help prepare products for market readiness. This role offers the time, space, and influence to shape products from early discovery through launch.
Job Responsibilities
• Collaborate closely with researchers, designers, product managers, and engineers to define and deliver meaningful user-centered products
• Independently and collaboratively develop and execute research roadmaps aligned to product goals
• Lead qualitative and quantitative research studies across all phases of the product development lifecycle
• Contribute insights that inform product strategy, execution, and go-to-market planning
• Manage external research vendors to support and scale research initiatives
Skills
• Strong verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively in fast-paced environments
• Experience using data and quantitative inputs to define, test, and support hypotheses
• Strong storytelling skills to communicate insights and influence diverse stakeholders
• Comfort operating with autonomy and making informed decisions while balancing competing priorities
Education / Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in a human behavior–related field such as human-computer interaction, psychology, sociology, communication, information science, media studies, computer science, or economics
