Role Overview :
We are seeking a senior-level Strategic Consultant with a proven enterprise track record implementing ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management Professional (HAM Pro) and Software Asset Management Professional (SAM Pro).
Following the recent acquisition of these modules, the consultant will lead the strategy, design, and implementation of HAM Pro and SAM Pro beginning in early 2026. This role requires deep IT Asset Management (ITAM) expertise, strong ServiceNow platform experience, and demonstrated success delivering scalable, audit ready asset management solutions for major corporations.
The consultant will serve as a trusted advisor across IT, Procurement, Finance, Security, and Compliance to ensure alignment between technology, process, governance, and business outcomes.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Define the end to end implementation strategy and roadmap for ServiceNow HAM Pro and SAM Pro
• Assess current state asset management processes and design a future state enterprise ITAM operating model
• Lead and oversee configuration of:
  • Hardware Asset Management Professional (HAM Pro)
  • Software Asset Management Professional (SAM Pro)

• Design and implement asset lifecycle workflows, compliance models, and automation
• Lead software normalization, entitlement, reconciliation, and reclamation efforts
• Ensure proper integration with ServiceNow Discovery, CMDB, and procurement/financial systems
• Establish ITAM governance, controls, KPIs, and reporting
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops and ensure strong knowledge transfer to internal teams

 
Required Experience & Qualifications:

• 8+ years experience on the ServiceNow platform
• 5+ years delivering HAM Pro and SAM Pro implementations in large enterprise environments
• Extensive background in IT Asset Management across hardware, software, and SaaS
• Deep knowledge of asset lifecycle management, financial alignment, and compliance
• Proven success implementing ITAM solutions for major or global corporations
• Ability to demonstrate measurable outcomes such as cost optimization, risk reduction, and audit readiness

 
Preferred Qualifications:

• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (HAM Pro and/or SAM Pro)
• ITIL v4 certification
• Experience with ServiceNow Discovery, CMDB, and ITOM
• Familiarity with leading software vendors and licensing frameworks (e.g., Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, Adobe)
