Title: Software Development Engineer

Job Description

Software Development Engineer for the Software & Networking team. We are looking for an experienced engineer to design, build, test, and deploy end to end services and features. This team builds and owns the core ground services that integrate with satellites and the ground stations.

Must-Haves:

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Experience utilizing Java with object-oriented principles, data structures, and design patterns to build scalable backend services with a focus on reliability and maintainability.
• Experience utilizing React with component-based architecture, hooks, and reusable UI patterns to develop responsive, maintainable frontend applications
• Experience with CDK/Typescript
• Experience with AWS technologies: APIG, Lambda, DynamoDB, Cloudwatch
• Experience developing end to end features at scale – including design, development, testing, and deployment of enterprise software features
• Experience contributing to design requirements and solution development for critical software systems

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with using AI (Q CLI, Claude code) in development
